We are happy to say welcome to our new student representatives at UNIS – Henninge and Jenny! They will join us in the bioCEED team for one semester and will be responsible among other things for arranging the bioCEED student meetings and running the bioBREAKFAST.
Henninge is a biology student at bachelor level from NTNU and her main interests in the field of biology are environmental biology and toxicology. Henninge know UNIS well since she was a bachelor student at UNIS last semester. Experiencing the work of bioCEED from our previous student representatives inspired her to apply for the position this semester. Henninge is now joining in on the bachelor courses “Arctic Environmental Management” and “Research Project in Arctic Biology”
Jenny is a bachelor student from Bergen who is also well known to the work of bioCEED. As a student at BIO in Bergen she has participated in several bioCEED activities and she also have been involved in biORACLE as a teaching assistant. She has a strong interest in contributing to the development of active teaching and learning and wanted to continue her work with this at UNIS. This semester she is studying “Arctic Marine Biology” and “Arctic Environmental Management”.
